AHA Membership
Party
MEMBERSHIP PARTY – Annually the Auburn Heritage Association
gathers for their Wine and Cheese membership social. The entire
current membership is invited as well as those interested
in historic preservation. The purpose of this event is to
promote membership in the Association and to confirm the slate
of officers presented by the nominating committee. The AHA
also presents their COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD to a deserving
member for their efforts during the previous year. Also, the
agenda for the upcoming years goals are discussed.
AUBURN CITYFEST – The last weekend in
April brings music, arts & crafts, food, children's
activities and lots of fun and excitement to beautiful Kiesel
Park, nestled in Auburn, Alabama. The Auburn Heritage Association
has participated in this event with a display of what the
AHA is all about. Look for us in the non-profit vendors
area of CityFest.

Christmas
Parade
AUBURN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHRISTMAS PARADE
– Jump into the Christmas spirit and help spread the
yuletide cheer by taking part in the annual Christmas Parade.
Spread the spirit of Christmas throughout Auburn, as Santa
pays his annual visit. Each year the Auburn Heritage Association
participates in the parade with an entry that promotes a
“look back” at old time Auburn.
“Dined
and Gone to Heaven” Dinner
in association with the Pine Hill Cemetery Lantern
Tour
This is a dinner hosted by the Auburn Heritage
Association that ties in with the Pine Hill Cemetery Lantern
Tour. A ‘gravely’ delicious meal and a ‘slightly
spooky’ happy hour is served along with ‘ghostly’
entertainment. Tickets are limited to this event and include
a ticket to the cemetery tour.
Pine Hill
Cemetery Lantern Tour
PINE HILL CEMETERY LANTERN TOUR – Pine
Hill Cemetery, which dates back to 1837, is the oldest of
Auburn’s four burying grounds. The AHA bi-annually
produces the Pine Hill Cemetery Lantern Tour. This is a
luminary tour through the cemetery in the early evening
hours of the day. Early inhabitants of Auburn come to life
and tell tour goers who they were and what their significance
to Auburn was.
